What is the best way online to find the value of old baseball cards?

baseball cards
J D asked:

I know very little about baseball cards but am willing to put forth the effort. Where is the best source to find their values, and sell them if any of them are worth any money?

The best way is to see what similar items are selling for in ebay. Book values in magazine like Becketts is meaningless since cards rarely sell close to book price.

But in general cards before 1980 might be worth a lot. Especially rookies and superstars in this era.

Cards between 1980-2000 are worth much b/c cards were overproduced in this era.

The last minute to find completed auctions dont accurately show what cards would sell for your cards see this page httpwwwfootballcardgallerycomprices.
For instructions on how to find completed auctions for instructions on how to bid so active ones lot of people wait until the last minute to look at completed auctions not active ones lot of people wait until the last minute to look for for market value but you need to find completed auctions for.
